What are terpenes?

Terpenes give plants and fruits their aroma and flavor. In cannabis, terpenes are known to increase the therapeutic qualities of cannabinoids. Studies show that terpenes and CBD both work together with receptors and neurotransmitters in the brain to produce sedative effects, uplifted/euphoric states, relieve pain and signal the body to heal¹.
